RBR Stage - Wythop II - Splash Screens Preview

With the release of the Wythop II stage for RBR expected on Rally Sim Fans with the next update I thought I would give a preview of the images used as splash screens on the final version.

All ten different splash screens feature 4 cars and liveries that would have been used in the reverse direction as part of the RAC Rally between the 1970s and 1980s.

Cars featured are:

  • 1988, Mazda 323 Turbo GrpA
  • 1984, Peugeot 205 T16 GrpB
  • 1979, Ford Escort MkII Grp4
  • 1977, Lancia Stratos Grp4

RBR Stage - Wythop - Progress Video (June 2024)

Wythop is a real rally stage in the English Lake District previously used on the RAC rally and multiple British National rally events. I am currently developing the stage for Richard Burns Rally and the video below shows work in progress up to June 2024. The majority of the road surface mesh and ground surface in the immediate vicinity of the stage is now complete. Next job will be adding trees and other objects which will be a big job due to the density of the forest.
