RBR Stage - Wythop - Progress Video (June 2024)

Image
Wythop is a real rally stage in the English Lake District previously used on the RAC rally and multiple British National rally events. I am currently developing the stage for Richard Burns Rally and the video below shows work in progress up to June 2024. The majority of the road surface mesh and ground surface in the immediate vicinity of the stage is now complete. Next job will be adding trees and other objects which will be a big job due to the density of the forest. Main stage mesh and ground surface mesh for immediate surroundings is coming along well and a large proportion of ground surface texturing has been completed. Distant hills and scenery is currently a just placeholder to help give an indication of the surroundings and help visualise the locale and will need further refinement further down the line. Screenshots taken from stage in Blender show a selection of key points on the stage with a variety of New, Normal and Worn stage stages. Stage start location beside Bassenthwaite Lake and first hairpin. Narrow cutting located approximately 0.3km into the stage. "Normal" stage state.
